GS Renovation is a building contractor working across London and the surrounding counties, from our base in Potters Bar. Our founder has 30+ years of hands-on experience, and most of our work involves the structure of a house: RSJ installation, load-bearing wall removal, chimney breast removal and structural alterations, followed by the kitchen, bathroom or extension that the new space is for.
We are a contractor, not a design practice. Where a job needs one, we appoint and coordinate the structural engineer, who designs and sizes the steel, and the architect or designer, who draws the scheme. We prepare and submit the building control application, carry out the work, and building control inspects it and issues the completion certificate. Where a party wall is involved, you serve the notice as building owner (or your surveyor does); we give you the drawings and programme it needs and build to any award.
You can hire us for the whole job or for one part of it, such as the steel alone before your own kitchen fitter comes in.

The jobs in those reviews are the work this site describes: a rear extension built from the foundations and drainage up to the roof, a kitchen in Wood Green that needed an RSJ and a new rear opening, a kitchen refit in an ex-local-authority maisonette in Islington that involved the electrics, water and plastering as well as the fitting, and a kitchen extractor in Woolwich ducted through the wall from inside, so no scaffold was needed.
How he runs a structural job: the structural engineer we appoint designs and sizes the steel; the opening is propped on sole plates before anything is cut; the beam goes in on its padstones, and the props stay until the bearings are packed and the beam is carrying the load; building control then inspects and issues the completion certificate. We work alongside your architect, structural engineer, party wall surveyor and building control, so the drawings, the calculations and the work on site agree with each other.

GS Renovation Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (Company No. 14611254), trades as GS Renovation & Home Improvements. The business is led by founder and director Abdelaaziz Saaid, who personally oversees projects from first survey to building-control sign-off. Abdelaaziz has worked in London renovation and structural building for over 30 years; GS Renovation Ltd was incorporated in 2023 to formalise that long-running trade, so our "30+ years" reflects hands-on experience rather than company age. Our registration and officers are a matter of public record, verifiable on the Companies House register.
